Build Your WiFi QR Code – One Brick at a Time!

Absolutely! We only use brand new, 100% genuine LEGO® bricks.

We build on a white 32x32 base plate, and we use black Lego tiles (smooth tops) in the following sizes:

• 1x1
• 1x2
• 1x3
• 1x4
• 1x6
• 2x2 (square)
• 2x2 (L-shape)
• 2x3
• 2x4

We optimize each QR code design to use the fewest LEGO pieces possible, ensuring both cost-effectiveness and a sleek, efficient build without compromising functionality.

You'll also receive two white 2x2 Coupling Plates with a piece of nylon string to hang your QR Code on the wall, as well as a white 4x4 tile with a WiFi decal attached (for the center of the code).

While we may introduce an option for Lego plates (studded tops) in the future, at this time we are only using Lego tiles (smooth tops).

At this time, we are only building black QR codes on white base plates.

We meticulously create and test each QR code to ensure seamless connection to your WiFi network using the exact network name and password you provide. Remember, capitalization and punctuation in network names and passwords are crucial!

The QR code will only try to connect to the network name and password that you give us when you order. If you update your network credentials, you'll need to also update the QR code. Even a tiny update could completely change the design of the QR code.

We do offer a Design-Only option where we make and email you the instructions for building a new QR code. However, you would need to provide your own bricks. So you could use the bricks from your old code to help build your new code.

There can't be too many characters that increase the complexity of the QR code. Longer WiFi Network Names or Passwords result in a more intricate QR code design, which may not fit within the constraints of the 32x32 LEGO base plate. By limiting the combined character count to 30, we ensure the QR code remains scannable, compact, and easy to build with the LEGO pieces provided in your kit. This helps maintain both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
